Obituary for Alex Joseph Giordano
Alex Joseph Giordano, age 21, a resident of Londonderry, NH, passed away unexpectedly at Mass General Hospital, Boston on Saturday, August 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved longtime boyfriend of Alyssa Derepentigny.
He was born in Derry, NH on September 6, 2001 and was the beloved son of Marc J. Giordano and his wife Linda of Litchfield, NH and Kristin J. Whittemore and her husband Jason of Hudson, NH.
Alex was a 2019 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. Upon graduation, he worked for Cleco Manufacturing as a Plasma Machine Operator. He was hardworking, driven, and family oriented. Alex had a kind, caring, and compassionate nature and was loved by anyone who met him. He adored his family and was happiest spending time with friends and loved ones, especially going out to eat. A home body, he loved playing video games and watching anime. Alex was a supportive, genuine soul and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his loving parents and girlfriend, Alex is survived by his siblings, Jared Whittemore and his wife Meghan, Matthew Giordano and his fiancé Elizabeth, Madisen Glaze and her husband Dylan, Katie Sicard and her husband Zachary, Brooke Whittemore, Donny Pomerleau and his wife Kaylin, Alyssa Pomerleau, Sarah Pomerleau and her husband Ian, Andrew Pomerleau and his wife Kayla, and LiAnne Pomerleau; his grandmother, Lucille Giordano; his 15 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Myles and Beverly Gardner, and Charles Giordano. Also, his loving uncle David Gardner.
Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10am at The Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford. KINDLY MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
