Obituary for Aline A. Paquin (Bourret)
Aline A. “Mems”, “Mrs. P.” Paquin, age 91, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Monday, May 1, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand H. Paquin with whom she enjoyed nearly 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2010.
She was born in Lowell on August 1, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Francois and Eva (Foucher) Bourret. She received her education from St. Louis School in Lowell, MA. Aline retired from General Electric as a Technician and then enjoyed wintering in Ft. Myers, FL for over 20 years.
She was a vibrant and special woman and anyone that met her fell in love with her instantaneously. She was truly a blessing to everyone that had the pleasure to meet her. Her most cherished times were spent in the company of family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling with family, was a member of the Le Cercle Jeanne Mance (French Club) and playing cards and Dominos with her nieces, nephews, and friends.
Aline is survived by her daughters, Denise Williams and her husband Jeffrey of Fort Myers, FL, Linda Coveno and her husband Stephen of Dracut, MA, and Norma Jean LeMay of Hampton, NH; her three beloved grandchildren, Katelyn Smith and her husband Kenny and Kevin Williams and his wife Aimee, and Nicole Coveno; her siblings, Francis Bourret, and Lucille Ayotte and her husband Normand; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son, Kenneth N. Paquin; her brother, Roger Bourret; and her sister-in-law, Elaine Bourret.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 5th from 9am to 11am at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation on Friday at 12pm at St. Marguerite D'Youville, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Aline’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
