Obituary for Anthony George Dugas

Anthony George Dugas, age 35, a lifelong resident of Tyngsboro, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lowell on October 9, 1986 and was the beloved son of Steven and Christina (Nassios) Dugas.

Anthony grew up in Tyngsboro and graduated from Tyngsboro High School with the class of 2005. He worked in various construction, demolition and restoration jobs. Growing up, he excelled at baseball and had a real love for the game. He loved nature and spent much of his time outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, boating and playing golf -anything that had to do with the outdoors. Listening to music and attending concerts was a big part of his life. He had a passion and love for cooking and grilling. He enjoyed creating different recipes. He was always there for anyone in need of handiwork and loved working with his hands. He will be remembered as hard working, dedicated, helpful, and most of all, for his kind heart and love for his family and friends.

In addition to his loving parents, Anthony is survived by his brother, Peter Dugas; his paternal grandparents, Roger and Mary Dugas; his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Nassios; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as his girlfriend and best friend, Tanya Ritchey and her children, Weston and Cora.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Peter Nassios.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 4pm to 8pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. A funeral home service will be held on Friday at 12:30pm at the Dracut Funeral Home. Interment in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wildlife Heritage Foundation of New Hampshire, 54 Portsmouth St., Concord, NH 03301.
