Obituary for Antonio Gonsalves Jr.
Antonio Gonsalves, Jr., age 61, a resident of Dracut, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Monday, August 7, 2023.
Antonio was born in New Bedford, MA on December 8, 1961 and was the son of Antonio and Lorraine (Cabral) Gonsalves.
He was a graduate of Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School. He worked as an Electronics Technician at various companies for over 40 years, including Mercury Systems, Cobham Electronics, and Raytheon Technologies.
Antonio is survived by his children, Jared Gonsalves and his wife Victoria, Lillian Gonsalves and her partner Steve, and Cyrus Gonsalves, and their mother, Kathleen Dowen Gonsalves. He was the grandfather of Oliver and Vienna Gonsalves.
Also survived by his sisters and their spouses, Michelle and Christopher Carey, Fatima and Salvatore Rapuano, Darlene and Scott Correia, and Robin Gonsalves and her partner Harry, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Tony was a dedicated and honorable family man and was much beloved by his Dracut family as well as his New Bedford family. He will be sadly missed, and greatly missed, by all.
Services will be held privately.
