Obituary for Barbara M. Beaudry (Saad)
Barbara M. Beaudry, age 77, a longtime resident of Hudson, NH, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Raymond L. Beaudry with whom she enjoyed 39 years of marriage.
She was born in Lowell on March 6, 1946 and was the daughter of the late Thomas Elias and Dora (Mansour) Saad.
Barbara grew up in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School. She then attended the Lowell Academy for Hairdressing. Later, she worked as an accountant, retiring from the Fred C. Church Insurance Agency after 35 years. Barbara enjoyed spending time tending to her garden. She had a talent for crafts and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and needlepoint. Barbara enjoyed the many cruises and vacations she took with her husband and their many loving and caring friends.
In addition to her loving husband, Barbara is survived by her brother, Thomas Saad and his wife Evelyn of Windham, NH; her brothers-in-law, Joseph Husson of Nashua, and Gerard Beaudry and his wife Darlene of Londonderry, NH; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children.
She was the loving mother of James “Jimmy” Beaudry who passed away in 2009. She is also predeceased by her sisters, MaryAnn Zaharias and her husband Charlie, and Joan Husson; and her mother-in-law, Rita (Geoffroy) Beaudry.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 12th from 4pm to 7pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 44 Bowers St., Lowell. Interment in Westlawn I Cemetery, Lowell.
