DRACUT - Elizabeth A. “Bettyanne” (Keenan) Richardson passed into God’s waiting arms on July 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born on January 18, 1940 in Brighton, MA to Henry J. and Dorothy C. (Murphy) Keenan who predeceased her.
Bettyanne was the beloved wife of Bernard B. Richardson, with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage. She was educated in Reading and Wakefield, MA, graduating from Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in 1957. Prior to her retirement in 2002, Bettyanne worked for many years in secretarial/administrative roles at several area corporations.
She enjoyed reading, quilting, knitting and crocheting, but her favorite pastime was enjoying her beloved family including 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Bettyanne is survived by her loving husband Bernard B. Richardson, their five children: Timothy J. Richardson and his wife Linda of Nashua, NH, Laura Jean (Richardson) Cassella and her husband Michael of Nashua, NH, Michael T. Richardson and his wife Tracy of Nashua, NH, Matthew T. Richardson and his wife Jacqueline of Hudson, NH, and Julie (Richardson) Tutt and her husband Christopher of Londonderry, NH; her 14 loving grandchildren: Bryan, Christina, Michael, Caitlin, Erin, Alyssa, Matthew, Emily, Evan, Jordan, Brett, Elizabeth, Savannah, and Christopher; and her 7 great-grandchildren: Bailey, Theodore, Madison, Leonidas, Quin, William, and Maverick. Bettyanne is also survived by her four brothers and a sister: Henry Keenan, Michael Keenan, Steven Keenan, Peter Keenan, and Kathy (Keenan) Mack; as well as many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 29th from 9am to 11am at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12pm following the visitation at Immaculate Conception Parish, 144 East Merrimack St., LOWELL. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, TEWKSBURY. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Bettyanne’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org.
