Obituary for Carmel M. (Louis) Ulysse
Carmel M. (Louis) Ulysse, age 62, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at Willow Manor Nursing Home on Friday, February 11, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Yves Ulysse with whom she enjoyed 40 years of marriage.
She was born in Petionville, Haiti on October 30, 1959 and was the daughter of Ismela Louis and the late Pierre L. Louis.
Carmel was a dedicated and selfless wife and mother who loved her family and adored her children. She took great care of her family and loved cooking. She was generous with a big, caring heart and always welcoming. She was happiest surrounded by her loved ones, hosting gatherings at her home. Carmel was a fan of 80s music. She enjoyed going to the beach and swimming. Carmel was loving, understanding, and charismatic, and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her loving husband and her mother, Carmel is survived by her children, Sander Ulysse and his wife Ingrid, Cassandra F. Ulysse and her boyfriend Anthony Jones, and Bernadine Ulysse; her grandchildren, Taliyah Marie and Sander, Jr.; several siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 17th from 4pm to 7pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. A graveside service will be held on Friday at 10am at Fairview Cemetery, NORTH CHELMSFORD. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CEMETERY.
