Obituary for Charles E. Paquin, Sr.

Charles Eugene Paquin Sr. passed away peacefully on Thursday April 14th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Ann “Nancy” (Flynn) Paquin. They were happily married for 58 years.

Born in Lowell, MA, the son of the late Louis and Claire (Martineau) Paquin. Charles grew up in Dracut and graduated from Dracut High School in 1957.

He enrolled in the Army right after high school and was honorably discharged after 3 years. After the Army he worked for Impco for several years while starting a family. He then enrolled in New Hampshire College and graduated with his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Charles had a lengthy career between the IRS and FDIC. Once he retired, he started his own tax business that he continued until he passed. He was a member of the Elk’s and involved with St. Kathryn’s Parish in Hudson since it’s inception.
In his free time Charles visited all 50 states and traveled the world with his late wife Nancy. He very much enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and watching his grandchildren compete in sports. He also found great joy in his trips to casinos and horse tracks all around the country.

Charles is survived and will be deeply missed by: his sons and their wives, Charles Jr. and Teresa of Litchfield, NH, Edward and Jean of Litchfield and Steve and Angelique of Concord, NH; his sisters Lucille Cavanaugh of Tyngsborough, MA, Jane Espinola of Salisbury,MA and Constance Sullivan of Meredith, NH; his grandchildren Alyssa of Pasadena, CA, Jason of Manchester, NH, Emily of Derry, and Ann of Litchfield, NH, William Nicholas and his mother Susan of Exeter, NH, Allen and Robert of Concord, NH; his sister-in-law and husband Agnes and James Callery.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 3-7 PM on Thursday, April 21st 2022 at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. At the request of the family masks are kindly required.

Funeral service and interment will be private.
