Obituary for David Paul Taylor Sr.
David Paul Taylor Sr., age 71, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Sunday, April 16, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Serino) Taylor with whom he enjoyed 17 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell on April 23, 1951 and was the son of the late Edward V. and Florence (Parrington) Taylor.
A self-employed painter, he operated C&D painting since the early 90s. He had a passion for working on cars, mostly antiques, and motorcycles. David enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and RVing in the mountains. Above all, he adored his family and friends and was happiest when entertaining them at gatherings at his home.
In addition to his loving wife, David is survived by his children, David P. Taylor Jr and his wife Lisa of Tyngsboro, Craig Taylor and his partner Holly Quigley of Dracut, Daniel Taylor of Dracut, and Michael Taylor of Lowell; his stepchildren, Nicole Lachiana and her partner Richard Dziedzinski of Dracut, and Matt Lachiana of Lowell; his beloved 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; his siblings, Nancy Krawczyk and her husband Louis, Mary Cloutier and her husband Richard, Patricia Chamberlain and her husband Bruce, Deborah Gingras and her partner Gerald Chambers, and William Taylor and his wife Sandra; his sister-in-law, Debra Dupont; his brother-in-law, Richard Demers; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, sadly David is predeceased by his daughter, Daisy Taylor, and his siblings, Edward Taylor Jr., and Kathleen Demers.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 22nd from 2pm to 5pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to the American Heart Association at heart.org.
