Obituary for Donald W. Jones
Donald W. Jones, Sr., a resident of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on August 7th, 2023.
Donald was born in Woburn on August 21, 1958, and was the son of Donald H. Jones and the late Dannie Lou (Cook) Jones.
Donald loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping in the mountains, spending time at the beach and long rides on his Harley Davidson Road King. He also liked watching sports, old cowboy and Indian films and daytime talk shows. Most of all, Donald loved being with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, Donald is survived by his children, Donald W. Jones, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Lowell, Kristy Jones of Manchester, NH, and Gary Leighton of Methuen. He was the beloved Papa to Maleehah Smith, Christian Barden-Jones, and Ryan Jones. Donald was also a loving brother to Deb Moore of Londonderry, NH, Danny Jones of Wilton, NH, Darlene Belville and her husband Scott of Hudson, NH, and a devoted uncle to Danny Jones, Jr., Kaley Moore Vescusco, Tiffany Moore Dickey, Samantha Steele, Ashley Johnson, Alex Steele, Shawn Jones, and several great-nephews and nieces.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 17th from 4pm to 7pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
