Obituary for Donna (Delaney) Tsoumbanikas
Donna (Delaney) Tsoumbanikas beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, aged 59 born and raised in Dracut, MA, a longtime resident of Freedom, NH passed away unexpectedly in her residence in Nashua, NH on May 29, 2023.
She was born on September 28, 1963, and was the daughter of Mary L. Delaney of Dracut and Brendan Delaney and his wife Helen of Hampton, NH.
Donna was raised in Dracut and attended Dracut schools. Donna's passion was cooking for her friends, family, and then enjoyed sitting and spending time with family over a meal. She worked in the foodservice industry cooking and serving for many years, and also worked hand in hand with her husband Chris at his company CR Schneider flooring. She enjoyed spending her time going to the NE dragway to watch family race and spending her time in the summer out on the boat with her kids, grandkids, and Chris. She also enjoyed her time riding on the back of Chris's Harley throughout the White Mountains and enjoying the outdoors. Donna also loved her trips to Foxwoods and her scratch tickets.
Besides her parents, Donna is survived by her son James Tsoumbanikas of Lowell, and her daughter Angela Thornton and her husband Dan of NH, and her grandchildren Tyler, Michael, Johnathan, Alena, Haile, Gail, and Grace. Her sisters Kathleen Sylvester, Ellen Cregg and her longtime companion Rick Proulx, Gail McCarthy and her husband James, and Lisa Brouillette and her husband Dennis, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donna is predeceased be her husband Chris Schneider and her brother Michael Delaney and her grandparents.
Donna lived a simple life and was known for being kind and giving to her close friends and family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Her Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately.
