Obituary for Doris T. Morin (Lamothe)
Doris T. (Lamothe) Morin, age 86, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Morin with whom she enjoyed 57 years of marriage before he passed in 2010.
She was born in Lowell on September 18, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Lozeau) Lamothe.
Doris enjoyed reading, sewing, doing crochet, tending to her flower garden, cooking, and taking trips to Vermont. Most of all she loved caring for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Linda T. Morin of Dracut, Larry Morin and his girlfriend Joann Camilli of Dracut, Russell Morin and his wife Anne of Hudson, NH, and Sandra Mortin-Digaetano of Dracut; her four grandchildren Rhiannon Morin, Kallie Morin, Laura Morin, and Derek Morin; her siblings, Robert Lamothe and his wife Carol, Laurette Jussaume and her husband Henry, Helen Ducharme, Lucille Quijano and her husband Paul, Priscilla Lamothe, and Barbara Purtell, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to husband, Doris is predeceased by her two grandchildren, Jennifer Morin and Steven Morin; her brother Roger Lamothe; and her son in-law, Joseph Digaetano.
Honoring Doris’s wishes all services will be private.
