Obituary for Elsie R. Gauvin (Beauguard)

Elsie (Beauguard) Gauvin, age 90, of Tyngsboro, passed away at D’Youville Senior Care in Lowell on Saturday, May 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Gauvin with whom she shared 52 years of marriage before his passing in 2002.

She was born in Lowell on December 11, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Mabel (Paquette) Beauguard.

Elsie grew up in Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School. She worked for Piconics in Tyngsboro as an assembler. She enjoyed working, taking care of her home, and bird watching. But most important to her, was the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her children; Brenda Palmer and her husband Donald of Merrimack, NH, Deborah Gauvin of Tyngsboro, and Charles “Chuck” Gauvin, Jr. of Nashua, NH, six grandchildren; Erica Lettas and husband Saki, Brian Palmer and his wife Melissa, Michelle Gauvin, Danny Gauvin, Kayla Gauvin and Justin Gauvin, great-grandson; Cameron Palmer, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Elsie is predeceased by her brother Arthur “Buddy” Beauguard.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 20th from 9am to 11am at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Followed by a funeral home service at 11am. Interment Saint Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Elsie’s memory to a charity of your choice.
