Obituary for Joan E. Horak (Witthohn)
Joan E. (Witthohn) Horak, age 87, a resident of Dracut, passed away at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center on Saturday, September 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Richard Horak with whom she enjoyed many years of marriage before his passing.
She was born in Arlington on May 4, 1935 and was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Scott) Witthohn.
Joan grew up in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School. She worked as a bus driver for many years in Burlington. In her spare time, she enjoyed going on walks, playing bingo and watching golf.
Joan is survived by her daughters, Debra Dubios and her husband Laurent, and Sandra Morency and her husband Robert; and her siblings, Steven Witthohn and his wife Patricia, and Edith Kindred. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces.
In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her brother in-law, Edward Kindred.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, September 22nd from 6pm to 8pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Interment will be held privately.
