Obituary for Joan F. McLaughlin (Emond)
Joan F. (Emond) McLaughlin, age 86, a longtime resident of Peabody, currently residing in Dracut, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Daniel J. McLaughlin with whom she enjoyed many years of marriage until his passing in 2015.
She was born in Boston on November 12, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Noel and Anna (Greenhalge) Emond.
Joan enjoyed spending summers in Maine, knitting, sewing, and reading.
Joan is survived by her daughters, Kelly McLaughlin and her companion Joseph D’Errico of Hudson, NH and Kerry Fone and her husband Ronald of Dracut; her grandchildren, Julie Rosato and her husband David, Paul Moscone, Daniel McLaughlin, and Riley Fone; and her great grandchildren, Brandon Rosato, Alyssa Rosato and Ava Moscone.
Sadly, along with her late husband Daniel, Joan was predeceased by her son Joseph McLaughlin and daughter Catherine McKay.
At the family’s request services will be private.
