Khon Veth, age 80, a longtime Lowell resident and a recent resident of Dracut, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Chhuon Chham with whom she enjoyed over 30 years of marriage.

She was born in Cambodia on February 2, 1942.

Khon was a homemaker and loved being able to stay at home and raise her family. She attended all their performances, awards, and never missed any family accomplishments. She loved having family and friends over to share her delicious meals with. Khon was an excellent cook. Some of her best meals were her Lo Mein and Stir Fry Ginger Beef. When she wasn’t spending time with family, she loved going to Foxwoods. Khon was a very independent, self-sufficient woman who wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.

Khon is survived by her children, Pao Chhuon and her husband Zhanda, Sammie T. Chhuon and her husband Samn Phaisikhieuv, Sophie Chhuon and her husband Chetra Seng, and Sitha; her grandchildren, Lena, Leeda, Wady, Andy, Aliyah, Jenna, Samthai, Jin, Angelina, Aythan, Alexander, and Athena; her great-grandchildren, Kayrin, Avery, and Gianna.

12:00pm: Food offering to the Buddhist Monks and dedicate merit to Mrs. Khon Veth
