Obituary for Lauren Ashley Palm
Lauren Ashley Palm, aged 34, beloved daughter and sister, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 5, 2023 at home after a lengthy illness. Lauren was born in Concord, MA on June 24, 1988, to Linda A. (Degnan) Palm and David M. Palm. She grew up in Tyngsboro, MA, graduating in 2006 from Tyngsboro High School. She went on to attend the University of Massachusetts at Lowell earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She spent several years as a Registered Nurse until her illness prevented her from continuing her career.
Lauren was an active participant in many sports while growing up, including field hockey, lacrosse, and skiing. She especially excelled in competitive gymnastics and diving. She enjoyed the beach, Cape Cod, visiting the White Mountains and skiing in Colorado. She also loved traveling to Colorado, California, England, France, Hawaii, and especially to Disney in Florida.
She was a very compassionate person and a fierce fighter right up until the end. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten by those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Lauren is survived by and will be deeply missed by her brother, Christopher J. Palm of Portland, OR, and her sister, Kimberly A. Picariello of Londonderry, NH. She is also survived by her longtime partner, Justin Murphy, who supported her through her lengthy illness. She also leaves two nieces, Kayleigh and Khloe Picariello, and nephew Anthony Picariello, as well as many relatives and friends. She is also survived by her beloved bulldog, Autumn, who brought her comfort as her constant companion.
Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, June 11th from 1pm to 4pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Funeral Service and Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
