Linda A. (Driscoll) Lavallee Derby, age 80, a resident of Merrimack, NH, passed away at the Mt. Carmel Health Care Facility on Thursday, October 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lowell on August 7, 1942 and was the daughter of the late William and Antoinette (Ninteau) Driscoll.
Linda grew up in Dracut and graduated from Dracut High School in 1961. She continued her education at Emerson College. Linda was a homemaker and was very involved in her children’s activities, coaching teams, helping with newspaper routes and always there to help with homework. Later, Linda worked for the town of Pelham, as the Deputy Town Clerk and then was elected Town Clerk Tax Collector; a position she was very proud of. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed spending time with her family which included Sunday dinners and game nights. She was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan. One of her highlights was attending a 2004 World Series game at Fenway with her son, Rob! She also enjoyed traveling with fun trips to the casino.
Linda is survived by her children, Lee Anne Madore and her husband Robert of Hopkinton, NH, Robert Lavallee and his wife Anna of Orange, CT, and Christine Lavallee of Concord, NH; her brothers, Gerald “Jerry” Driscoll of Dracut, and William “Billy” Driscoll of Lowell; her grandchildren, Caitlyn Madore, Justin Madore, Breana Lavallee, and Trevor Lavallee.
In addition to her parents, Linda is predeceased by her sister, Donna Goulet.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 13th from 4pm to 7pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10am at St. Patrick’s Church, 12 Main St. PELHAM, NH. Interment will follow in Gibson Cemetery, PELHAM, NH.
