Obituary for Marion Olive Gretza (Strang)
Marion Olive (Strang) Gretza, age 90, a resident of Dracut, passed away at Fairview Healthcare Center on Sunday, February 5, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Princetown, New York on January 5, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Hattie (Ely) Strang.
Marion “Gram” as she was known by her family, enjoyed participating in craft fairs over the years, as well as hours of embroidery and crocheting. She left a legacy of special hand-crafted items for her loving family to enjoy for generations.
Marion is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Bittner and her brother William J. Burger, both of Mentor Ohio. Marion is also survived by her 5 children, Paul Gretza and his wife Sharon, Robert Gretza, Hattie Lynn Nelson, Andrew Gretza and his wife Beth, and Ginger Gretza and her spouse Kim Selway, along with14 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
All services will be held privately.
