Obituary for Mary C. (Frangoudis) Fortin
Mary C. (Frangoudis) Fortin, age 79, passed peacefully on October 12, 2022 at Care Dimensions in Lincoln.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late George and Constance (Georgeopoulos) Frangoudis and attended the Bartlett School and Lowell High School. Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Fortin in 1966 and her longtime companion, Ed Morlock in 2012. She worked for M/A-Com in Burlington for 22 years and then the IRS until her retirement in 2007. She was a communicant of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and a past member of the Seton Guild. Her greatest joy was holding her great granddaughter, Chloe Sousa.
Mary will be greatly missed by her daughter Connie Sousa and her husband Michael of Chelmsford, and her much loved grandsons, Bobby Sousa and his wife Traci of Schuylerville, NY, Joey Sousa and his wife Annie of Attleboro, and Mikey Sousa of Chelmsford. Mary also leaves her brother Archie Frangoudis of Merrimack, NH, her dear friend Joanne Cecchini, and many cousins, especially Mary Ann Johnston.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 17th from 4pm to 7pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10am at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis Street, Lowell. Kindly gather at Church. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, LowellL.
