Obituary for Myles D. Gardner

Myles D. Gardner, age 81, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was the husband of the late Beverly Ann (Newell) Gardner.

Myles was born on April 24, 1942, and was a son of the late Alfred P. and Mary F. (Casey) Gardner.

Myles was a retired member of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed going to the shop for a dose of “Morning Gossip with Brian and the boys”. He also loved dining out, especially breakfast every Sunday with his son and grandson and his weekly lobster dinner. Myles enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, particularly vacationing and fishing in Maine and Florida.

Myles is survived by his children; Beverly Zatowski and her husband Michael, Jennifer Carroll, daughter-in-law Laurie Gardner, and Kristin Whittemore and her husband Jason. He also leaves his grandchildren; Heather Jussaume, Ethan Zatowski and his fiancé Sara, Conor and Sinead Carroll, Joseph Gardner and his fiancé Sabrina, Molly Manter and her husband Walter, Jared Whittemore and his wife Meaghan, Katie Sicard and her husband Zachary, Alex Giordano, and Brooke Whittemore; and great-grandchildren; Shayla, Nathan, Riley, Rowan, and Waylon, several nieces and nephews and members of the extended Berry and Gardner families. Myles was sadly predeceased by his son David Gardner and son in-law John Carroll.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, August 1st from 4pm to 7pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue. DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at St. Marguerite D’Youville, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Interment to follow at Wildwood Cemetery, WILMINGTON.
