Obituary for Paula Jean MacGillivray (Chamberland)
Paula Jean (Chamberland) MacGillivray, age 54, a resident of Hudson, NH, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Bruce A. MacGillivray with whom she enjoyed 33 years of marriage.
She was born in Lowell on October 4, 1968 and was a daughter of Paul A. and the late Carol A. (Kenney) Chamberland.
Paula loved shopping and bingo. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, knitting, and scrapbooking. A fan of holiday festivities, she always went big with Christmas and Thanksgiving. Paula wanted to be remembered for hosting the best Christmas celebrations. Nothing brought her more happiness than her family, especially her grandkids who were her pride and joy.
In addition to her loving husband, Paula is survived by her sons, Joshua and his wife Jennifer of Derry, NH, and Joey and his wife Sammi of Litchfield, NH; her grandchildren, Juniper, Jace, Sophia, and Lucy; her brothers, Ryan Chamberland and his wife Veronica of Litchfield, NH, Jesse Chamberland and his wife Christina of Litchfield, NH, and Chad Chamberland and his wife Jessica of Litchfield, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, June 2nd from 4pm to 8pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Mary Magdalen Parish, 95 Lakeview Ave., TYNGSBORO. Interment will follow in Gibson Cemetery, PELHAM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Paula’s memory to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
