Obituary for Ray N. Lavigne

Raymond “Ray” N. Lavigne, age 65, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at his home on Saturday 17, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Lowell on November 15,1956 and was the son of the late Norman and Florida (Leduc) Lavigne.
Ray worked as a machine operator at D&D Asphalt Paving for over 20 years. Fall was his favorite time of the year, and he looked forward to Halloween every year. He was known for his famous French stuffing he made for Thanksgiving dinner. He enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR and racing stock cars. Camping was his home away from home and he loved sharing stories with family while sitting around the campfire.

Ray is survived by his loving Fiancé Sharon McConnell, his children Jessica Tellier of Nashua and Alex Lavigne of Derry, NH, his stepchildren Emily McConnell of Dracut, and Erik McConnell of Amesbury, his granddaughters Sophia Boilard and Zoe Tellier his siblings Lillian Stanley and her husband Michael of Auburndale, FL, Robert Lavigne and his wife Kathy of Auburndale, FL, and Patricia Lavigne from Laconia, NH also12 nieces and nephews and his dog, Katie girl.

He is predeceased by his son, Joseph Tellier and his sister, Jeannette Lavigne.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, October 16th at 11:00am at Saint Michael Parish, 543 Bridge St., Lowell.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave.
