Obituary for Roger A. Aubrey, Sr.
Roger Allen Aubrey, Sr. passed away at home on July 21, 2023. He was born in Lowell, MA on July 4, 1943, to Chet and Helen Aubrey.
Roger was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was the owner of R&B Drywall for ten years with partners Billy and Paul Lussier. Subsequently, Roger worked as a union taper for nearly 30 years for DC 35 Local 577. After retirement, Roger enjoyed spending time with his family and teasing everyone he loved. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed casinos. Roger will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
Roger is survived by his wife of 59 years, Georgette (Genereux) Aubrey, his daughter, Renee Rees and her husband Mike, sons Roger, Jr. and his wife Lori and Randy and his wife Kim, grandchildren Kayle Aubrey, Emily Silva, Shawn Rees, Callen Aubrey, Hope Aubrey and Brandon Rees, and great grandchildren Sutton Cox and Bentley Aubrey. Roger is also survived by his sister Paula Moore and her husband John, and several nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by his brothers Bobby Aubrey and Ronnie Aubrey.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, July 25th from 4-8pm at the Dracut Funeral Home, with a brief service at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 26th at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, NH.
