Obituary for Ruth E. Von Kahle (Blair)
Ruth E. (Blair) Von Kahle, age 85, a resident of Pelham, NH, passed away at Willow Manor on Sunday, November 13, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Tewksbury on August 31, 1937 and was the daughter of the late George Blair and Johann (Holden) Von Kahle.
Ruth grew up in Wilmington and attended Wilmington High School. She worked as an assembler for many years before her retirement in 2000. Ruth enjoyed cooking for her family, doing puzzles and watching Lifetime movies. In her younger years, she loved spending her free time relaxing in the backyard with her cats and at night, going dancing with her friends. Her smile and eyes would light up the room. She had a special connection with all of her grandchildren and valued the time she spent with them.
Ruth is survived by her children, Judith Kowalchuk of Pelham, NH, and Kelli Alves and her husband, Pedro, of Pelham, NH; her grandchildren, Kayla Kowalchuk and her fiancé, Timothy Oliveira, Kevin Kowalchuk, Marques Alves, Cameron Alves, Amelia Alves, Mateo Alves, and Aiden Alves and her great-grandson, Jackson.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Von Kahle and Janet Clark; her brothers, George Blair and Ronald Blair; and her son in-law, Richard Kowalchuk.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 17th from 3pm to 6pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A funeral home service will be held immediately after the visitation at 6pm. Interment will be private.
