Obituary for Sandra Marie "Sandy" Vallois (Rousseau)
Sandra M. (Rousseau) Vallois, age 62, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lowell on February 19, 1960 and was the daughter of Lucien H. Rousseau and the late Theresa E. (Garneau) Rousseau.
Sandy grew up in Lowell and attended Lowell public schools. She had a passion for helping others, which let her to a career as a home health aide for many years. Sandy enjoyed going out to eat, painting, taking road trips to Maine and visiting lighthouses. She especially cherished the time she spent with her family at different gatherings at Long Pond Lake.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Lowell General Cancer Center, Merrimack Valley Hospice, and Health aide, Anna for all their care, compassion, and support they gave during this most difficult time.
In addition to her father, Sandy is survived by her children, Jason Rousseau of Dracut, Timothy Gunter of Woburn, and Ryan Vallois of Lowell; her siblings, Sharon Haggerty and her husband James of Londonderry, NH, and David Rousseau and his fiancé Shirley Binette of Derry, NH.; six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her loving dog, Pebbles and Rabbit, Gracie.
At this time all services will be held privately.
