Obituary for Shaun Alexander Carignan
Shaun Alexander Carignan, age 34, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away suddenly in Beverly on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
He was born in Lowell on March 23, 1988 and was the son of Kevin and Elizabeth (Delaney) Carignan.
Shaun graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School, class of 2006. Following graduation Shaun worked as a CNC machinist, which he enjoyed very much. Shaun loved to tinker around with his various cars and pick-up trucks he owned though the years. If you were looking for Shaun, he would be either under his truck or in his workshop creating and building all kinds of projects. Shaun would spend many hours with his father in their workshop fixing snow blowers, lawn tractors and various other mechanical creations. As a teen Shaun loved to camp, ride four wheelers and snow machines. Shaun would spend summers camping and going to Lake Winnipesaukee with his family, his aunts, uncles and cousins where he was affectionately known as Shotgun Shaun.
In addition to his parents, Shaun is survived by his brother, Keith Carignan; his brother-in-law, Liam Grant; paternal grandparents Charles and Theresa Carignan; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sadly, Shaun is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Edward and Blanche Delaney.
