Stanley C. Wroblewski Jr., age 84, a lifelong resident of Lowell, passed away at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.
He was born in Lowell on April 2, 1938 and was the son of the late Stanley C. Sr. and Elizabeth (Estes) Wroblewski.
Stanley grew up in Lowell and attended the Greenhalge school in Centralville. He worked for Lawrence Manufacturing and later for BASF in Burlington. He was very involved with the Goodwill organization on Middlesex St. in Lowell and was a member of the Polish Home on Coburn St in Lowell. Stanley had a talent for pool and enjoyed playing with his friends. He was an excellent player who was a challenge to beat. He spent many of his days fishing in the Merrimack River and many weekends fishing on his boat in Lake Winnipesaukee, where his family had a mobile home. One of Stanley’s favorite pastimes was sitting at his kitchen table doing puzzles. He also enjoyed watching television, especially A-Team and Westerns.
Stanley is survived by his dear lifelong friend, Jane Oczkowski. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Joan Wroblewski.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 24th from 9am to 10am at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday following the visitation at 11am at St. Casimir's Parish, 268 Lakeview Ave., LOWELL. Interment will follow in Saint Casimir’s Cemetery, PELHAM, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stanley’s memory to Goodwill at www.goodwill.org.
