It is with sadness that we share the sudden passing of Stephen E. Ross, a longtime resident of Dracut, who also spent time living in California and Las Vegas.
Stephen was born on July 5, 1964, and graduated from Dracut High School in 1982. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lowell and spent most of his career working in the medical device industry. He was an animal lover who enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, and following Boston sports teams.
Stephen was a kind and gentle man and a beloved member of a large family. He leaves his mother, Mildred D. (Houle) (Ross) Marion; sister Gail (Ross) O’Kane and nephew Jack, of Minneapolis, MN; and brother, John Ross and sister-in-law Marie (Panageotopoulos), niece Caitlin (Ross) Byers and husband Kevin, and nephew Charlie Ross, all of Dracut, MA. Stephen is also survived by step-siblings Judith Vervaert and husband Paul of Tyngsborough, MA, Louise Marion of N. Carolina, Suzanne Trudel and husband Donald of Portsmouth, NH, Adelard “Del” Marion and wife Michelle of Dracut, Phyllis Marion of Lowell, Donna Marie O'Brien and husband Kevin of Amesbury, MA, and Alfred "Fred" Marion and his wife Denise of Dracut.
Stephen was predeceased by his father, Anthony “Tony” E. Ross, brother Glen, and stepfather, Julien A. Marion.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 7 at 10am at St. Marguerite D'Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Ave, DRACUT. KINDLY MEET AT THE CHURCH. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Stephen may have a Mass said in his name at Sainte Marguerite D’Youville Parish in Dracut, MA, or make a donation to the Lowell Humane Society.
