Obituary for Tammy Jean Dallaire

Tammy J. Dallaire, 53, of Pelham, NH, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2022 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, with her family by her side after complications from a life long illness.

She was born October 30, 1968, in Methuen, MA to Sandra Dallaire and the late George Dallaire. For years, Tammy worked as a nurse and a care provider. She graduated from Pelham High School in 1986, and continued her education at nursing school in Lowell, MA.

Tammy was known for her infectious laugh, her wit and ability to make all who encountered her feel welcome. She never knew a stranger. She was kind, generous and always saw the good in everyone.

Her hobbies and interests included her family, golfing, and traveling. She loved visiting with and talking to her grandson George, who was her pride and joy. She took many trips, both near and far with her good friend Kathy Coakley Dion and companion John Charest.

Tammy is survived by her children, Sheena Bannon and her husband Joe of Chesapeake, VA and her son Jeffrey Curley, Jr. of Pelham NH; her grandson, George Bannon IV of Chesapeake, VA, her mother Sandra Dallaire of Pelham, NH; her sisters, Kim Silver and her husband Lee of Pelham, NH and Dawn Lever and her husband Jim of Methuen, MA; and her former husband and best friend Jeffrey Curley, Sr. of Pelham, NH, She also leaves her three nieces, Tara, Cassi and Mackenzie; her two nephews, Thomas and Sean; and her great nephew Brayden.

She was preceded in death by her father George J. Dallaire.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5 – 8 pm in the Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 12, at 10 am at St. Patrick Parish, 12 Main St., Pelham, NH. Kindly gather at the church. Interment to follow in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham.
