Obituary for Thomas Lee Tevepaugh

Thomas Lee Tevepaugh, age 70, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away at Lowell General Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2022.

He was born in Morrisville, NC on March 11, 1951 and was the son of the late Harvey and Aline (Sarrason) Tevepaugh.

Thomas moved from North Carolina to Lowell when he was young and spent his entire life in Lowell. In his younger years he was a successful boxer and nearly made it to a professional level - an accomplishment he was incredibly proud of. He loved working with his hands and could fix just about anything. He used his talents as a handyman to buy, repair, and resell cars. He enjoyed deep sea fishing, and he liked to dance and cook. Thomas was a wonderful father who loved his kids and was always involved with their sports. An independent man, he didn't like to be fussed over and always gave more than he took. He would give the shirt off his back to help a person in need and will be remembered for his generous spirit.

Thomas is survived by his children, Roger Tevepaugh, Lauren Tevepaugh, Shay McGrail, SSG Thomas Tevepaugh, Jr. and his wife Diane, Dawn Holloway and her husband SSG Travis Holloway, and Mary Tevepaugh; his sister, Patsy; as well as his former wife and friend Victoria Perro, and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is predeceased by his brothers, Roger and Lawrence Tevepaugh.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, March 12th from 12pm to 3pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.
